Government Contract Alerts
Public tenders in the US, EU and UK, filtered by your words.
com.ibrahimtxy.samgov · Business
SAM.gov (US), TED (EU) and Contracts Finder (UK) each publish public tenders with their own search. This app watches all three on your phone and notifies you of a new match with its deadline and official link.
What it does
- US (SAM.gov): phrases, NAICS codes, states, set-asides (8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB and more), notice type
- Exact phrases are rechecked on your phone (SAM.gov splits “cyber security” in two)
- EU (TED): CPV codes, countries, keywords, open calls or awards, euro floor
- UK (Contracts Finder): phrase, works, goods or services, SME or VCSE-suitable, pound floor
- A floor never drops a notice that publishes no value
- Save notices from all three; one reminder 1, 3, 7 or 14 days before each closes
- Give saved notices a status (Reviewing to Won, Lost or Passed) and a note; list or board view
- Told when a check sees a saved notice's new date or cancellation
- Sort and filter results by publish or closing date
- EU and UK awards name the winner; share any notice
- Export saved notices to CSV, PDF or e-mail; back up all to your own file
- If one source is down, the other two still alert you; the warning names it
How you set it up
You create one watch — for example “network access control, NAICS 541512” — and close the app. At the interval you choose it checks newly posted public contract opportunities in the US, the EU and the UK; when an opportunity matching your filter is posted your phone gets a notification. It never tells you about the same thing twice.
Who it is for
Suppliers, contractors and bid writers selling to public buyers in the US, EU and UK.
What it does not do
- It does NOT bid, register you or download tender documents; you make your bid on the buyer's own site.
- It does NOT sign in and never asks for a UEI, CAGE code or any credentials.
- It asks for no account. No sign-up, no password.
- The developer collects no personal data and adds no analytics or crash reporting. In the free version the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects IP address, app interactions, diagnostics and device IDs (see Data safety).
- The free tier shows Google AdMob ads: a bottom banner, rewarded ads you start yourself and an “Ad”-labelled card inside the list; no full-screen ads between pages or on launch. Paid members see no ads and no ad request is made.
Version history
0.12.0 (2026-10-28)
- See saved notices in columns by status (Board by status) and move a card with its “Move to…” menu; the list view stays.
- Save your saved notices as a PDF to read and print (Save as PDF), with your statuses and notes.
0.11.0 (2026-10-27)
- A notice you saved that comes back in a check with a new date, or cancelled, is updated, its reminder moves to the new date and you get one notification.
- Sort and filter a check's results by publish or closing date; share US notices too.
- Export saved notices as a spreadsheet (CSV) or e-mail them; back up your filters and saved notices to a file of your own and restore them on a new phone.
0.10.0 (2026-10-27)
- Give each saved notice a status (Reviewing, Preparing bid, Bid submitted, Won, Lost, Passed) and a short note; both stay on your phone and are never shared.
- A notice marked Won, Lost or Passed gets no closing reminder; the top of the Reminders tab counts your bids.
0.9.0 (2026-10-18)
- The Reminders tab no longer says “No reminders yet” while your saved EU or UK notices have reminders; its empty line now speaks only for the SAM.gov list.
0.8.0 (2026-10-17)
- When two or more deadline reminders are waiting, tapping the grouped notification now opens the Reminders tab instead of the last screen you had open.
0.7.0 (2026-10-15)
- EU tenders (TED) and UK contract notices (Contracts Finder) are now watched here too, next to US federal opportunities: pick the region at the top of the Search tab.
- Save EU and UK notices and get one reminder before they close.
- If one source is down, the others still alert you and the warning names the source that failed.
0.6.0 (2026-10-09)
- New watches get their first check without waiting for the next round; the daily data estimate is no longer too low.
- Free watches full? An optional rewarded ad adds 2 more watches for 24 hours.
0.5.0 (2026-10-07)
- Search form: the phrase field has a shorter label that fits on one line when empty, an example appears while you type, and the note below says only notices containing the phrase are kept.
0.4.0 (2026-09-27)
- Narrow a filter to small-business set-asides: 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB and more.
- One reminder before the response deadline of a notice you pick (on your phone, no network).
- Results and errors now appear above the ad strip; a late ad card no longer shifts the screen.
- Update and rating windows no longer open on top of each other.
- With paid membership the ads SDK no longer starts at launch.
- No full-screen ad loads when memory is low (crash fix); ads library updated.
Permissions
| Permission | Why |
|---|---|
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE | To avoid pointless attempts while offline, and to tell mobile data from Wi-Fi. |
INTERNET | To reach the public SAM.gov, TED and Contracts Finder notice lists. |
POST_NOTIFICATIONS | To tell you a matching opportunity was posted. That is the whole app. |
READ_BASIC_PHONE_STATE | So the ads library can tell Wi-Fi from mobile data. It grants no access to your phone number, IMEI or call log; the app does not declare it, the ads library adds it. |
RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED | So your watches resume after the phone restarts. |
VIBRATE | To vibrate when a notification arrives. |
WAKE_LOCK | So the phone does not fall asleep in the middle of a check. The app does not ask for this itself; the background work library (Android Jetpack WorkManager) adds it. |
BILLING | So you can buy a paid membership through Google Play. The app does not declare this permission itself; the Google Play Billing library adds it. Your payment details (card, address, invoice) never reach the app and are never seen or stored by it — Google Play takes the payment. All the app learns is whether your membership is active. |
AD_ID | Ads in the free tier are served by Google AdMob, which may read the device advertising ID (AAID). The app does not declare this permission itself; the ads library adds it. Paid members make no ad request at all. You can reset or delete the ID in Settings › Google › Ads. |
