Offline PDF Merge & Compress
PDF, video and audio tools that never upload your file.
com.ibrahimtxy.dosyakutusu · Tools
A common way to merge two PDFs is to upload them to a website. That is fine for a holiday photo and wrong for a contract, a payslip or a medical report. Every file tool in this app runs on the phone, which is also why it works with no signal. And unlike a PDF-only toolbox, the same app also trims video and lifts the sound out of it.
Compression loses quality and the result cannot be restored to the original — keep your source file. Every file tool runs on the device: no file is uploaded anywhere.
What it does
- PDF: merge PDFs and pictures in the order you set, with the pages you pick from each; split by page or into several files; compress after seeing the size each setting gives
- Pages: rotate, delete, reorder, crop, insert pages or pictures, add page numbers or a text or picture watermark, flatten, put 2 or 4 pages on a sheet or make a booklet
- Scans: combine front and back sides scanned separately, remove blank pages, whiten yellowed scans
- Sign: draw your signature with your finger and place it on the pages you choose; it is saved on this phone only if you ask (a picture, not an e-signature)
- Edit: change or delete a line of text and replace or remove a picture; the old text is really removed, not covered, and the new text can be searched
- Mark up: highlight, underline or strike out text, draw with a pen and add text notes as real PDF annotations; fill in PDF form fields (Android 15, or 12 to 14 with Google Play system updates)
- Convert: pictures to PDF on A4, Letter or picture size; typed text to PDF with real, selectable text; PDF pages to JPG or PNG; a web page to PDF; PDF to Word, Excel or PowerPoint; Word (.docx, or the text and tables of an older .doc) to PDF
- Password: lock a PDF with AES-256 and choose what it allows (printing, copying, editing) with a separate owner password, or remove a password you know (Android 15, or 12 to 14 with Google Play system updates)
- Open and print PDFs in the app, take files shared from other apps, search the tools and star your favourites
- Read a PDF aloud with your phone's own voices that work without a connection
- Remove comments and markup (links and form fields stay) or extract the pictures embedded in a PDF
- Video: trim between two times with no re-encoding, or shrink the bitrate; audio: pull the sound track out of a video into a separate m4a file
- Each tool says what it will do to the file before it does it; a queue runs long jobs while you do something else
- Your files and password are not uploaded or stored anywhere
How you set it up
Pick a tool and then the file: one PDF, several PDFs or pictures to merge, or a text; other apps can also share files straight to it. Before anything changes, the app says what will happen to the file. Press Run, choose where the result goes, and a notification tells you when it is done. Apart from Web page to PDF, which loads the page you type, nothing is fetched from the internet, so the file tools work in aeroplane mode, and light and dark themes and large text are respected.
Who it is for
Anyone who needs a file tool for documents they would not upload to a website.
What it does not do
- It does not upload files, read text from scans (no OCR), apply a certified electronic signature or recover a forgotten password.
- No account and no sign-up: the only passwords are the ones you put on your own PDFs.
- The developer collects no personal data and adds no analytics or crash reporting. In the free version the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects IP address, app interactions, diagnostics and device IDs (see Data safety).
- The free tier shows Google AdMob ads: a bottom banner, rewarded ads you start yourself and an “Ad”-labelled card inside the list; no full-screen ads between pages or on launch. Paid members see no ads and no ad request is made.

- New: lock a PDF with a password (AES-256; pages are saved as images), or remove a password you know (Android 15, or 12 to 14 with Google Play system updates).
- The password and signature you give a job stay in memory only until it has run; nothing is uploaded.

0.4.0 (2026-09-19)
- Rebuilt on the latest Android version and libraries, including a newer version of a component Google Play flagged as outdated.
- Stability improvements.
Permissions
| Permission | Why |
|---|---|
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE | So the ad library can see the connection state. Your entries do not use the network. |
INTERNET | For ads ONLY. Your entries never leave the device and the app has no server of its own. |
POST_NOTIFICATIONS | To remind you about the dates and reminders you set yourself. |
READ_BASIC_PHONE_STATE | So the ads library can tell Wi-Fi from mobile data. It grants no access to your phone number, IMEI or call log; the app does not declare it, the ads library adds it. |
RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED | So your reminders keep working after the phone restarts. |
VIBRATE | To vibrate when a notification arrives. |
WAKE_LOCK | So the phone does not fall asleep in the middle of a check. The app does not ask for this itself; the background work library (Android Jetpack WorkManager) adds it. |
BILLING | So you can buy a paid membership through Google Play. The app does not declare this permission itself; the Google Play Billing library adds it. Your payment details (card, address, invoice) never reach the app and are never seen or stored by it — Google Play takes the payment. All the app learns is whether your membership is active. |
AD_ID | Ads in the free tier are served by Google AdMob, which may read the device advertising ID (AAID). The app does not declare this permission itself; the ads library adds it. Paid members make no ad request at all. You can reset or delete the ID in Settings › Google › Ads. |
Source
This app reads no outside data except the web page you ask Web page to PDF to load. It works on the files you pick, on your phone, and does not copy them into its own storage; a password or text you type for a job stays in memory only until that job has run, and your signature is kept only if you save it. No file is sent to any server.
