1. What the app does

Shift Planner & Overtime Pay keeps the records you enter and works them out for you. An example entry: Night shift · 22:00-06:00 · +50%.

The app reads nothing from the internet: it contacts no source, looks nothing up and has no account to sign in to. Every figure it shows is computed on this phone from what you typed.

2. Data we collect

The developer collects none. We run no server and receive nothing from your device — not your records, not your device identifier, not your usage, not crash reports.

The one exception is advertising, and the developer does not process that either: in the free tier Google serves the ads and may use your device's advertising ID (AAID) and IP address. See §5.

3. What is stored on your device

The records you enter, the settings you choose and the reminders you set, with the time each reminder last went off so that it is not sent twice. All of it lives in the app's private storage and is deleted when you uninstall the app.

4. Servers the app talks to

For its own work, none. The app contacts no source server: there is nothing to fetch. The only network traffic it makes is the advertising and purchase traffic described in §5 and §6, and the free tier is the only tier that makes the first of those.

5. Advertising

This section applies to version 0.1.0 and later. Earlier versions show no ads, contain no advertising library and read no advertising ID.

The free tier shows ads. They are served by Google AdMob; the developer does not choose what is shown and has no direct relationship with advertisers. The formats used are:

• Banner — at the bottom of the screen; it never covers your content.
• Rewarded — only when you tap the offer yourself; it relaxes free-tier limits for 24 hours.
• Native — a card inside the app's own screens, always marked with an “Ad” label.

Interstitial, rewarded interstitial and app open ads are no longer used; versions of the app released before 28 October 2026 also showed these formats.

• Paid members see no ads and no ad request is made — nothing leaves the device for AdMob, and no consent form is shown.
• To select, serve and measure ads, Google may use your device's advertising ID (AAID) and IP address. The developer never reads or stores that identifier; Google is the party that processes it.
• You can reset or delete the advertising ID in Settings › Google › Ads. The app keeps working if you do.
• In the European Economic Area, Switzerland and the United Kingdom, Google's certified consent form is shown before the first ad loads. You can change your choice later from the Privacy options link inside the app.
• How Google processes this data: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

There is no analytics (Firebase Analytics and the like), no crash reporting (Crashlytics and the like) and no marketing tracker. How you use the app is never reported to the developer.

If you buy a paid membership, the payment is handled by Google Play. Your card details are never entered into the app and are never seen by the developer.

Monthly and yearly memberships renew automatically; Google Play charges your account at the start of each period. The lifetime membership is a one-off purchase and does not renew. You can cancel a subscription at any time in Google Play Store › Menu › Subscriptions; cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. Refunds are also handled by Google Play — the developer has no access to the payment.

The app has no server of its own. Whether your membership is active is read again every time the app asks Google Play (when you open the app and when you view the membership screen). That is why a cancellation or refund closes the membership the next time you open the app. If you changed device, Restore purchases on the membership screen brings back a purchase made with the same Google account.

The app is not directed to children. The developer collects no data from anyone; the advertising data described in §5 is processed by Google.

9. Keeping and deleting your data

Everything the app stores stays on your device; there is no account and no server copy. Clearing the app’s storage, or uninstalling the app, deletes everything it has ever kept — nothing survives elsewhere, so there is no separate deletion request to make. A paid membership is held by Google Play, not by the app: it survives reinstalling and can be brought back with Restore purchases.

12. This app in detail

The sections above apply to every app by this developer. What follows is written for this app only and describes exactly what it records, what it never records and what it will not claim.

SUMMARY
The developer receives none of your personal data. Everything you enter — shift
dates and times, unpaid breaks, labels, projects, clients and notes, the colors
you give your labels, your shift types, the name, hourly rate, pay period,
automatic break and overtime rule of each employer you add, your rota (its
pattern, first day and shift times), leave days and allowances, bonuses and
tips, the figures you copy from a payslip, your budget items, day notes with
their icons, to-dos, photos and drawings, and any calendar you import to compare
— is stored ONLY on your device. There is no account and no sign-in, and no
network connection is made in order to save a shift, calculate a total or
produce a timesheet.

NOTHING LEAVES THIS PHONE
Your working hours are sensitive: taken together they say where you were, for
how long and for whom, week after week. They run entirely on this device and are
never uploaded. Automatic cloud backup is switched off (allowBackup=false); a
backup is only written when you choose to write one, to a file you select
yourself. That backup contains your shifts, every employer with its rule set and
your rota, so a new phone can start where the old one stopped, together with
your other entries. The backup with photos (.zip) also contains the photos
attached to your day notes; restoring reads either file and changes nothing if
the file is damaged.

A file leaves the phone only when you send it yourself. The Share and Save
buttons create the PDF timesheet, the printable calendar, the spreadsheet (CSV
or Excel) or the calendar file in the app's private storage or in the file you
pick, and hand that one file to the app you choose, with read access to that
file only. Printing passes the calendar PDF to the Android print service and the
printer you select. The app needs no storage permission for this. Your notes
appear in the spreadsheet export; they are never written into the PDF timesheet,
the printable calendar or the calendar file.

NO LOCATION, NO CONTACTS, NO CALENDAR, NO CAMERA
The app requests NO location permission, NO contacts permission and NO calendar
permission; android.permission.CAMERA is not in this package either, and the app
asks for no photo, media or storage permission. It does not need them: it adds
up hours you type in. Calendar sync, in particular, is deliberately out of scope
— reading your calendar to guess your shifts would mean reading everything else
in it too. The calendar export works the other way round: it writes an .ics file
with the month's shifts (date, time, label and hours worked — never your notes)
that you share or save yourself, and your own calendar app imports it. The rota
export works the same way: an .ics file with the next twelve months of planned
shifts (date, time and label) that you share or save yourself. The app never
reads or writes your phone's calendar.

PHOTOS AND DRAWINGS
A photo is attached to a day note only when you pick it in Android's own photo
picker, which gives the app that one photo and nothing else. The app keeps a
reduced copy in its private storage; removing the photo from the note deletes
that copy. Drawings are stored as lines in your notes. Photos and drawings never
appear in a timesheet, a calendar file or a spreadsheet.

IMPORTING AND COMPARING CALENDARS
When you import shifts or a calendar to compare, you choose one .ics or CSV file
in Android's file picker; the app reads that file once and nothing else. For
imported shifts it keeps the start and end time and, if you ask for it, the
event title as the label. For a calendar you compare with (for example a
partner's), it keeps ONLY the start and end times under the name you give it —
event titles and descriptions are not saved. You can remove a compared calendar
at any time.

CLOCK IN AND CLOCK OUT
Clock in saves the start time on this device; nothing runs in the background, no
location is used and no service keeps the phone awake. Clock out turns it into a
shift. The Clock in / Clock out button on the Today widget does the same without
opening the app.

SEVERAL EMPLOYERS
If you add more than one employer, each one's shifts, rate, rule and rota are
kept apart. A PDF timesheet is made for ONE employer and contains only that
employer's name and shifts, so a timesheet you hand to one employer never shows
the hours you worked for another.

HOME-SCREEN AND LOCK-SCREEN WIDGETS
If you add a home-screen widget, this month's hours and the date, time and label
of your shifts — including planned shifts from your rota and leave days — appear
on your home screen, where anyone looking at your phone can see them. When a
shift has no label and you have more than one employer, the employer's name is
shown instead. These widgets ask not to be shown on the lock screen. The
lock-screen widget, where your phone's lock screen accepts widgets, shows only
the day and time of your next shift — no label, no employer. Your pay and hourly
rate are never shown on any widget. The widgets read the same on-device data as
the app and make no network request of their own; you can remove them at any
time.

INTERNET AND PERMISSIONS
The internet permissions (android.permission.INTERNET,
android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE) are used for advertising only.
POST_NOTIFICATIONS, VIBRATE and RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED are used for the weekly
threshold alert, and WAKE_LOCK is added by the background work library while a
scheduled check runs. Notification permission is requested only when you switch
the weekly alert on — never at start-up. The advertising library adds
com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID and
android.permission.READ_BASIC_PHONE_STATE to the package. Purchases use
com.android.vending.BILLING.

ADVERTISING (Google AdMob) The free version shows Google AdMob advertising.
Three ad formats are used: a bottom banner, a native ad inside the
app's own content, and a rewarded video you start yourself. There are
no full-screen ads between screens or when the app opens. AdMob may
process identifiers such as the advertising ID in order to serve ads. Users in
the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are shown a
consent screen through Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP), and you can
change your choice later under Settings > Privacy. Google's privacy policy
applies to AdMob's own processing: https://policies.google.com/privacy

PAID MEMBERSHIP
You can buy an ad-free membership through Google Play Billing. A paying member
sees no advertising at all: no ad is displayed and no ad request is even sent.
The paid plan also unlocks the PDF timesheet, the spreadsheet export, the
printable calendar and a wider history window. Alternatively, watching a
rewarded ad unlocks them for 24 hours. Purchases are handled by Google Play; the
app never sees or stores your payment details, and you can restore an existing
purchase from the membership section.

ENTERING SHIFTS IS NEVER BEHIND THE PAYWALL
Adding and editing shifts, clocking in and out, entering your rule, and seeing
this month's hours, overtime and expected gross pay are unlimited on every plan,
including the free one. The calculation happens on your phone and costs nothing
to run, and this is a figure about your own wages — putting it behind an ad
would be using the product against the person who needs it. What money buys is
how many past shifts the history list shows and whether you can export or share
the PDF timesheet, the spreadsheet and the printable calendar; the calendar
view, period and year reports, leave, extras, payslip comparison, budget, label
colors, the widgets and the calendar file are free on every plan. THE LIMIT
NEVER DELETES ANYTHING: shifts outside the window stay on the device and a
backup always contains every one of them.

THE RULE SET SHIPS EMPTY, ON PURPOSE
The app contains NO legal thresholds and NO multipliers. Daily, weekly and
monthly working-time limits, overtime rates and tiers, rounding rules, rest-day
and public-holiday premiums and night windows differ by country, by sector and
often by individual contract, and they change. A number built into the app would
keep producing a confident, wrong figure long after the law had moved, and
nothing would look broken. You enter the rule and record where you read it; that
source is printed in the header of every timesheet the app produces, so anyone
checking your figures can check the rule too. For the same reason the app does
not know your country's public holiday calendar — you mark a shift as a holiday
yourself — and it does not price leave days: they are counted against the
allowance you enter.

GROSS FIGURES ONLY — NO TAX, NO DEDUCTIONS
Every amount the app shows is GROSS: before income tax, social insurance,
pension and any other deduction. Tax calculation is deliberately out of scope,
because getting it half right would be worse than not doing it at all.

NOT LEGAL OR EMPLOYMENT ADVICE
THIS APP IS FOR INFORMATION ONLY AND IS NOT LEGAL, EMPLOYMENT OR FINANCIAL
ADVICE. It is not payroll software, it is not connected to any employer,
authority or payroll provider, and it does not verify anything on your behalf.
The figures are an estimate produced from the hours you entered and the rule you
entered. If your payslip disagrees with this app, the binding documents are your
employment contract and your employer's records; talk to your employer, your
union or a qualified adviser.

MEASUREMENT
The app keeps five counters on this device — shifts added, rule sets saved,
monthly reports opened, threshold alerts delivered and PDF timesheets exported.
They are shown to you under Settings > Usage and are never sent anywhere. There
is no analytics SDK in this package.

puantajlar. Bunlar size Ayarlar > Kullanım altında gösterilir ve hiçbir yere
gönderilmez. Bu pakette analitik SDK'sı yoktur.
