1. What the app does

Bedtime Stories to Read Aloud keeps the records you enter and works them out for you. An example entry: Ada and the lighthouse · 4 min.

The app reads nothing from the internet: it contacts no source, looks nothing up and has no account to sign in to. Every figure it shows is computed on this phone from what you typed.

2. Data we collect

The developer collects none. We run no server and receive nothing from your device — not your records, not your device identifier, not your usage, not crash reports.

The one exception is advertising, and the developer does not process that either: in the free tier Google serves the ads and may use your device's advertising ID (AAID) and IP address. See §5.

3. What is stored on your device

The records you enter, the settings you choose and the reminders you set, with the time each reminder last went off so that it is not sent twice. All of it lives in the app's private storage and is deleted when you uninstall the app.

4. Servers the app talks to

For its own work, none. The app contacts no source server: there is nothing to fetch. The only network traffic it makes is the advertising and purchase traffic described in §5 and §6, and the free tier is the only tier that makes the first of those.

5. Advertising

This section applies to version 0.1.0 and later. Earlier versions show no ads, contain no advertising library and read no advertising ID.

The free tier shows ads. They are served by Google AdMob; the developer does not choose what is shown and has no direct relationship with advertisers. The formats used are:

• Banner — at the bottom of the screen; it never covers your content.
• Rewarded — only when you tap the offer yourself; it relaxes free-tier limits for 24 hours.
• Native — a card inside the app's own screens, always marked with an “Ad” label.

Interstitial, rewarded interstitial and app open ads are no longer used; versions of the app released before 28 October 2026 also showed these formats.

• Paid members see no ads and no ad request is made — nothing leaves the device for AdMob, and no consent form is shown.
• To select, serve and measure ads, Google may use your device's advertising ID (AAID) and IP address. The developer never reads or stores that identifier; Google is the party that processes it.
• You can reset or delete the advertising ID in Settings › Google › Ads. The app keeps working if you do.
• In the European Economic Area, Switzerland and the United Kingdom, Google's certified consent form is shown before the first ad loads. You can change your choice later from the Privacy options link inside the app.
• How Google processes this data: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

There is no analytics (Firebase Analytics and the like), no crash reporting (Crashlytics and the like) and no marketing tracker. How you use the app is never reported to the developer.

If you buy a paid membership, the payment is handled by Google Play. Your card details are never entered into the app and are never seen by the developer.

Monthly and yearly memberships renew automatically; Google Play charges your account at the start of each period. The lifetime membership is a one-off purchase and does not renew. You can cancel a subscription at any time in Google Play Store › Menu › Subscriptions; cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. Refunds are also handled by Google Play — the developer has no access to the payment.

The app has no server of its own. Whether your membership is active is read again every time the app asks Google Play (when you open the app and when you view the membership screen). That is why a cancellation or refund closes the membership the next time you open the app. If you changed device, Restore purchases on the membership screen brings back a purchase made with the same Google account.

8. Children

The app is not directed to children. The developer collects no data from anyone; the advertising data described in §5 is processed by Google.

9. Keeping and deleting your data

Everything the app stores stays on your device; there is no account and no server copy. Clearing the app’s storage, or uninstalling the app, deletes everything it has ever kept — nothing survives elsewhere, so there is no separate deletion request to make. A paid membership is held by Google Play, not by the app: it survives reinstalling and can be brought back with Restore purchases.

12. This app in detail

The sections above apply to every app by this developer. What follows is written for this app only and describes exactly what it records, what it never records and what it will not claim.

SUMMARY
The developer receives none of your personal data. The child's name you type
in, the optional child profiles, the tales that are built around them, the audio
files that are produced from them and the book files you open are stored ONLY on
your device. There is no account and no sign-in, and no network connection is made
in order to write a tale, read a tale or a book out loud, or save anything.

THE CHILD'S NAME NEVER LEAVES THIS PHONE
A child's first name is personal data, and it is the only thing you must type. It is
used in one place — inside the text of the tale — and it is stored in this app's own
storage on this device. It is never uploaded, never shared and never
put into a network request. Automatic cloud backup is switched off
(allowBackup=false); a backup is only written when you choose to write one, to a
file you select yourself.

OPTIONAL CHILD PROFILES STAY ON THIS PHONE TOO
You can save a profile for each child (at most eight): the name, how the tale calls
the hero (child, girl or boy), an optional age group, favourite themes, the language
the tales are told in and how the hero looks in the pictures (skin tone, hair colour
and style, outfit colour, glasses - picked from a short list; no photo is asked for or
taken). A profile only fills in the choices on the New tale screen and draws the
pictures; the age group only suggests a tale length and is not used for anything else. Suggestions ("Suggested for ...") are
worked out on this device from that profile and from how often that child's saved
tales were played. Profiles are kept the same way as the name: in this app's own
storage, never uploaded, never put into a network request. Deleting a profile does
not delete any tale.

NO REMOTE AI MODEL IS CONNECTED
The tales are not generated by a service on the internet. Every sentence comes from
a closed, hand-written collection that ships inside this app, and the only part that
changes from one tale to the next is the child's name. Tales can be told in English,
Turkish, German or Spanish; each language has its own hand-written collection, and the
app's own screens stay in English or Turkish. That is a deliberate trade:
you get fewer possible tales than an online model would produce, and in exchange the
text can be checked in advance, the app works with no internet at all, nothing costs
money to run, and the child's name is never sent anywhere.

THE TEXT IS FILTERED, AND THE FILTER CAN BE CHECKED
Because the collection is closed, the question "could this produce something
unsuitable for a child" is not a guess. The whole collection, and every tale that
can be built from it, is put through a content filter on every build, and the name
you type is put through the same filter before it is used. A name that does not pass
is refused and nothing is saved. This is what a closed collection buys.

THE VOICE IS PRODUCED ON THIS DEVICE
The tale is read out by the text-to-speech engine already installed on your phone.
No audio is uploaded and no cloud voice service is used, so the text of the tale
never leaves the device in order to be spoken either. The audio file that is created
is written into this app's own storage. If your device has no installed voice for
the language, the app says so instead of failing silently. When "Highlight words
while reading" is on, the tale is read live by the same engine and the word being
read is marked on the screen; the reading speed, text size and background you pick
are settings on this device. Reading goes on when the screen turns off or locks. The
app registers an Android media session that carries the title of the tale being read.
A media session needs no permission, and the app sends nothing to the developer
through it.

PICTURES ARE DRAWN ON THIS DEVICE
Each generated tale gets a picture drawn on this device: the theme's scene, the hero in
the look chosen in the child's profile, the friends that appear in that tale and the
child's name. The friends are drawn with the phone's own emoji font; no picture is
downloaded and nothing about the picture is sent anywhere. Tapping a friend or the hero
makes it move and says its name with the same on-device voice. The picture moves gently;
"Calm picture" in the reading settings, or switching animations off in Android, keeps
it still. The classic tales show the original illustrations of their public-domain
editions, which ship inside the app.

STORY GAMES
Under a tale there are three short games built on this device from that tale's own
sentences: putting four moments in order, a missing word and picture-and-word. Answers
are not stored and there is no score history; only the number of finished games is
counted on this device (see MEASUREMENT). The games are entertainment, not a test.

YOUR OWN BOOKS
You can open your own text or e-book file (TXT, EPUB or HTML) with Android's file
picker and have it read aloud. The app only reads the file you pick; the text is
converted on this device and kept in this app's own storage (at most twenty books),
together with the place you left off, an optional bookmark and note. A book is never
uploaded, is not in the backup (you already have the file) and is deleted when you
delete it. The safety filter described above is for the tales the app writes itself;
it is not applied to a book you bring, and the screen says so.

SAVING AS PDF AND PRINTING
A tale or a classic tale can be saved as a PDF file or printed. The PDF is drawn on
this device and written to the file you choose; printing uses Android's own print
dialog, where you pick a printer or "Save as PDF". The app needs no permission for
either and sends nothing to the developer.

NO MICROPHONE, NO CAMERA, NO LOCATION, NO CONTACTS, NO CALENDAR
This app produces sound; it never records it. android.permission.RECORD_AUDIO is not
in this package, and neither is android.permission.CAMERA. The app requests NO
location permission, NO contacts permission and NO calendar permission. It does not
know where you are and it cannot see or hear anything around it. The only details it
keeps about a child are the ones you type into a tale or an optional profile, and
they stay on this device.

WHO THIS APP IS FOR
This app is written for a parent or carer to use. An adult types the name, picks a
theme and starts the tale; the optional child profiles are records an adult creates
on this device, and the app has no child-facing account and nothing a child needs to
sign in to. IT IS NOT ENROLLED IN GOOGLE PLAY'S FAMILIES
PROGRAMME and its store listing declares an adult target audience. That is an honest
limit rather than a claim: an app aimed at children would additionally have to mark
its ad requests for child-directed treatment and follow the Families ad-format
rules, and this package does not do that.

INTERNET AND PERMISSIONS
The internet permissions (android.permission.INTERNET,
android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE) are used for advertising only. Writing a
tale and reading it out use no network at all. POST_NOTIFICATIONS, VIBRATE and
RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED are used for the bedtime reminder, and WAKE_LOCK is added by
the background work library while a scheduled check runs. Notification permission is
requested only when you switch the bedtime reminder on — never at start-up. The
advertising library adds com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID and
android.permission.READ_BASIC_PHONE_STATE to the package. Purchases use
com.android.vending.BILLING.

ADVERTISING (Google AdMob)
The free version shows Google AdMob advertising. Three ad formats are used:
a bottom banner, a native ad inside the app's own content, and a rewarded
video you start yourself. There are no full-screen ads between screens or when
the app opens. AdMob may process identifiers such as the advertising ID in
order to serve ads. Users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and
Switzerland are shown a consent screen through Google's User Messaging Platform
(UMP), and you can change your choice later under Settings > Privacy. Google's
privacy policy applies to AdMob's own processing:

PAID MEMBERSHIP REMOVES ADVERTISING COMPLETELY
On a paid plan no advertisement is shown and no ad request is even sent — the
decision is taken before the consent question is asked, so a paying user is never
shown a consent form either. Membership is handled by Google Play Billing; this app
never sees your card details and stores no payment information.

PLAYING A SAVED TALE IS ALWAYS FREE
A new tale uses one of the day's credits. PLAYING A TALE AGAIN NEVER USES A CREDIT,
on any plan, however many times you play it and however the audio is produced. A
rewarded video adds more tales for the rest of the day, and a paid plan raises the
daily number; neither of them is needed to open, read or listen to anything that is
already in the library. The library is never trimmed by your plan and nothing in it
is ever deleted to make room.

BACKUP
The backup you write contains the saved tales, the names in them, the child
profiles, your shelves, notes and bookmarks, your reading settings and your reminder
setting. AUDIO FILES ARE NOT IN THE BACKUP: they can be produced again from the
text, and including them would make the file unusable. When a backup is restored the
audio is simply produced again the next time you play the tale, and that costs
nothing. The books you opened are not in the backup either: you already have the
files, and restoring a backup keeps the books that are on this phone.

MEASUREMENT
The app keeps seven counters on this device — Tales created, Tales listened to, Tales
played again, Bedtime reminders delivered, Tales exported, Classic tales listened to and
Story games finished — so that you can see your own use under Settings. The Badges board
in the library is worked out on this device from these counters and from your saved
tales; no badge is earned by watching an ad or by buying anything. The counters are
never sent anywhere. There is no analytics SDK in this package.

NOT AN EDUCATIONAL OR MEDICAL TOOL
This app is entertainment and a bedtime routine helper. IT IS NOT AN EDUCATIONAL,
THERAPEUTIC OR SLEEP-TREATMENT TOOL and it does not replace a professional. A parent
decides how much screen and audio time a young child gets; an optional age group only
suggests a tale length and the app imposes no age limit. A tale can end with one
sentence about the theme's value (for example sharing or patience); that is a story
sentence, not a teaching claim.

YOUR RIGHTS
Because the developer collects none of your data, there is nothing for us to
export or erase on your behalf. Everything is in your own device storage: delete a
tale, a profile or a book, uninstall the app, or use Restore in Settings to replace
the records, and it is gone. Deleting a tale also deletes its audio file; deleting a
book also deletes its text.

CHANGES
If this policy changes, the updated text ships inside the app and the date at the top
of this document changes with it.

sesi kurulu değilse uygulama bunu SÖYLER, sessizce başarısız olmaz. "Okurken sözcüğü
vurgula" açıkken masal aynı motorla canlı okunur ve okunan sözcük ekranda işaretlenir;
seçtiğiniz okuma hızı, yazı boyutu ve zemin bu cihazdaki ayarlardır. Ekran kapansa ya
da kilitlense de okuma sürer. Uygulama, okunan masalın adını taşıyan bir Android medya
oturumu açar. Medya oturumu izin istemez ve uygulama onun üzerinden geliştiriciye
hiçbir şey göndermez.

RESİMLER BU CİHAZDA ÇİZİLİR
Üretilen her masala bu cihazda bir resim çizilir: temanın sahnesi, çocuğun profilinde
seçilen görünümle kahraman, o masalda geçen dostlar ve çocuğun adı. Dostlar telefonun
kendi emoji yazı tipiyle çizilir; hiçbir resim indirilmez ve resimle ilgili hiçbir şey
bir yere gönderilmez. Bir dosta ya da kahramana dokunmak onu kımıldatır ve adını aynı
cihaz içi sesle söyler. Resim yavaşça kımıldar; okuma ayarlarındaki "Sakin resim" ya da
Android'de animasyonları kapatmak onu durgun tutar. Klasik masallar, uygulamanın içinde
gelen kamu malı baskılarının özgün resimlerini gösterir.

MASAL OYUNLARI
Masalın altında, bu cihazda o masalın kendi cümlelerinden kurulan üç kısa oyun vardır:
dört anı sıraya koymak, eksik kelime ve resim-kelime. Cevaplar saklanmaz ve puan geçmişi
yoktur; yalnızca biten oyunların sayısı bu cihazda sayılır (bkz. ÖLÇÜM). Oyunlar bir
eğlencedir, sınav değildir.

KENDİ KİTAPLARINIZ
Kendi metin ya da e-kitap dosyanızı (TXT, EPUB ya da HTML) Android'in dosya
seçicisiyle açıp sesli okutabilirsiniz. Uygulama yalnızca seçtiğiniz dosyayı okur;
metin bu cihazda çevrilir ve uygulamanın kendi alanında (en fazla yirmi kitap),
kaldığınız yer, isteğe bağlı yer imi ve notla birlikte saklanır. Kitap hiçbir zaman

Kitaplıktaki Rozetler panosu bu cihazda, bu sayaçlardan ve kayıtlı masallarınızdan
hesaplanır; reklam izleyerek ya da satın alarak rozet kazanılmaz. Sayaçlar hiçbir yere
gönderilmez. Bu pakette analitik SDK'sı yoktur.

EĞİTİM YA DA TIBBİ BİR ARAÇ DEĞİLDİR
Bu uygulama bir eğlence ve yatma rutini aracıdır. EĞİTİM, TERAPİ YA DA UYKU TEDAVİSİ
ARACI DEĞİLDİR ve bir uzmanın yerini tutmaz. Küçük çocuklar için ekran ve ses
kullanımına ebeveyn karar verir; isteğe bağlı yaş grubu yalnızca masal uzunluğunu
önerir ve uygulama bir yaş sınırı dayatmaz. Bir masal temanın değerini (örneğin
paylaşmak ya da sabır) anlatan tek bir cümleyle bitebilir; bu bir masal cümlesidir,
öğretme iddiası değildir.

HAKLARINIZ
Geliştirici hiçbir verinizi toplamadığı için sizin adınıza dışa
aktarabileceğimiz veya silebileceğimiz bir şey yoktur. Her şey kendi cihaz
depolamanızdadır: bir masalı, profili ya da kitabı silin, uygulamayı kaldırın ya da
Ayarlar'daki Geri yükle ile kayıtların yerine yenisini koyun; gider. Bir masalı
silmek ses dosyasını, bir kitabı silmek metnini de siler.

DEĞİŞİKLİKLER
Bu politika değişirse güncel metin uygulamanın içinde gelir ve bu belgenin
başındaki tarih de onunla birlikte değişir.
